I chose Phase One because of the image quality from the back and for the Capture One software which is a powerful tool but quick to learn. Together they allow me to shoot straight to the computer in the studio so I can be sure I've got the shot I want and they provide a workflow which means I can efficiently produce colour correct images from hundreds of captures in one shoot. The facility to try different "looks" which are built into the software is very useful and saves me post-production time.

Both the back and the software have the reliability and robustness I would expect of professional tools and having local support and advice in the shape of Chris was a very important factor.
